Code Ann. § 33-15-551","body":"(1) This section shall be known and may be cited as the “Mississippi Regional Pre-Need Disaster Clean Up Act.”\n\n(2) For the purposes of this section, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings ascribed in this section unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:\n\n(a) “ Disaster-related ” means arising out of a severe weather event or other emergency as declared by the Governor.\n\n(b) “ Pre-Need ” means a contract entered into in advance of the need for the goods or services, such that the contracted entity is retained before the need for performance of the contract.","path":["MS Code","Title 33"],"source_url":"https://legislature.ms.gov/","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:17Z","sha256":"dab2f88d0304e001d880b9c2c8c8a8b1a3fec45e46f0c485c32bcd947ce1d91c","source_id":"us-ms","stale":false,"prev":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-33-15-55","next":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-33-15-553"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
