Code Ann. § 37-11-83","body":"(1) As used in this section the following terms shall have the meaning ascribed herein:\n\n(a) “ Feminine hygiene products ” means tampons and sanitary napkins for use in connection with the menstrual cycle.\n\n(b) “ School building ” means any facility:\n\n(i) That is owned or leased by the school district or over which the board has care, custody and control; and\n\n(ii) In which there is a public school serving students in Grade 6 through Grade 12.\n\n(2) School districts are authorized to make feminine hygiene products available, at no cost to students, in the bathrooms or offices of the school nurse in school buildings.","path":["MS Code","Title 37"],"source_url":"https://legislature.ms.gov/","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:17Z","sha256":"2359e414b8e2473cee576ebc066d47ed27839b4a8f79b8ab58fe5d8df2cc1001","source_id":"us-ms","stale":false,"prev":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-37-11-81","next":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-37-11-85"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
