Code Ann. § 37-115-50","body":"For purposes of Sections 37-115-50 through 37-115-50.3 , the following terms shall have the following meanings:\n\n(a) “ Academic medical center ” means the teaching, research, and clinical facilities and services provided, established, or operated by a public university under Chapter 115, Title 37, Mississippi Code of 1972 .\n\n(b) “ Health sciences school ” means any school of medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy and any other health care-related educational program operated or provided by an academic medical center in this state.\n\n(c) “ Health care collaborative ” means any consolidation or collaboration involving the academic medical center and any other public, private, for-profit or nonprofit health care facilities and providers.","path":["MS Code","Title 37"],"source_url":"https://legislature.ms.gov/","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:17Z","sha256":"eab800131c20e3931df2401123fd8a69ff8907c22fa66b7dffe6be5316efdd4a","source_id":"us-ms","stale":false,"prev":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-37-115-5","next":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-37-115-50.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
