Code Ann. § 37-153-55","body":"As used in this article, the following words have the meanings ascribed unless the context requires otherwise:\n\n(a) “ ARPA ” means the federal American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 ( Public Law No. 117-2 ).\n\n(b) “ COVID-19 ” means the Coronavirus Disease 2019.\n\n(c) “ Federal COVID-19 Relief Funds ” means funds allocated to the State of Mississippi from the Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Fund in Section 9901 of ARPA.\n\n(d) “ Grant program ” means the workforce development and training programs administered under this article using federal COVID-19 relief funds.\n\n(e) “ Office ” means the Office of Workforce Development established in Section 37-153-7 .","path":["MS Code","Title 37"],"source_url":"https://legislature.ms.gov/","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:17Z","sha256":"501df38d988ed94b95823dbf5c0b2e394327d88204a7b7a71fb3d0956c03c128","source_id":"us-ms","stale":false,"prev":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-37-153-53","next":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-37-153-57"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
