Code Ann. § 37-29-277","body":"When the board of trustees of any community or junior college or educational building corporation created under Sections 37-29-601 through 37-29-613 acquires auxiliary facilities by lease, lease purchase or service contract, or borrows money to purchase the property, the board of trustees or educational building corporation shall obtain business interruption insurance in an amount sufficient to pay lease payments or debt service payments for the period of time required to restore or rebuild leased or financed facilities damaged or destroyed by a catastrophic event such as a fire, storm, tornado or earthquake.","path":["MS Code","Title 37"],"source_url":"https://legislature.ms.gov/","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:17Z","sha256":"29392e3daa25d1b3216df02d5d0330160fd1f48ca873af84e5b8055ab2096fbf","source_id":"us-ms","stale":false,"prev":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-37-29-275","next":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-37-29-3"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
