Code Ann. § 37-3-67","body":"Components of the Alliance for Families program shall include, but shall not be limited to:\n\n(a) A signed parent pledge to assist with identification of ways to improve their child's performance;\n\n(b) Folder/notebook that is sent home periodically, but not less than once per month, for parent's signature;\n\n(c) Emphasis on “back to school night” or other family-oriented programs is key parent education events and as a beginning of establishing a partnership with the home;\n\n(d) Reading focus programs which require home reading programs;\n\n(e) Teacher, principal and parent training on how to participate most effectively in the program;\n\n(f) Newsletters to parents on school programs, classroom curriculum, and how parents can reinforce what their child is learning;\n\n(g) Home survey to assess parents' perceptions about communication, school programs and learning strategies for the home;\n\n(h) Parent/teacher conferences which involve training parents and teachers in effective conferencing strategies and cooperative methods to achieve student success.","path":["MS Code","Title 37"],"source_url":"https://legislature.ms.gov/","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:17Z","sha256":"aec46ed5677584dc544b02dcb76fe551254806a3872742293cc5cb18aa6bd439","source_id":"us-ms","stale":false,"prev":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-37-3-65","next":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-37-3-69"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
