Code Ann. § 41-85-13","body":"(1) The department may deny, revoke or suspend a license.\n\n(2) Any of the following actions by a hospice program or any of its employees shall be grounds for action by the department against a hospice program:\n\n(a) A violation of the provisions of this chapter or of any standard or rule promulgated hereunder.\n\n(b) An intentional or negligent act materially affecting the health or safety of a patient.\n\n(3) If, three (3) months after the date of obtaining a license, or at any time thereafter, a hospice does not have in operation the home-care component of hospice care, the department shall immediately revoke the license of such hospice.\n\n(4) If, twelve (12) months after the date of obtaining a license, or at any time thereafter, a hospice does not have in operation the outpatient and homelike inpatient components of hospice care, the department shall immediately revoke the license of such hospice.","path":["MS Code","Title 41"],"source_url":"https://legislature.ms.gov/","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:17Z","sha256":"55ec473bfaba36665e7e2720adf75f3aa801b96e0c0ffdf5bb1327ce061900d2","source_id":"us-ms","stale":false,"prev":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-41-85-11","next":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-41-85-15"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
