Code Ann. § 43-13-203","body":"As used in this article:\n\n(a) “Benefit” means the receipt of money, goods, services or anything of pecuniary value.\n\n(b) “False statement” or “false representation” means a statement or representation knowingly and wilfully made by a person knowing of the falsity of the statement or representation.\n\n(c) “Knowing” and “knowingly” means that a person is aware of the nature of his conduct and that such conduct is substantially certain to cause the intended result.\n\n(d) “Medicaid benefit” means a benefit paid or payable under the Medicaid program established under Section 43-13-101 et seq.\n\n(e) “Person” means an individual, corporation, unincorporated association, partnership or other form of business association.","path":["MS Code","Title 43"],"source_url":"https://legislature.ms.gov/","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:17Z","sha256":"ab8f66f59ba5cea367158871c18e89424d6182a181152dfd661788fc16d92690","source_id":"us-ms","stale":false,"prev":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-43-13-201","next":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-43-13-205"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
