Code Ann. § 43-21-263","body":"(1) The youth court may order the sealing of records involving children:\n\n(a) if the child who was the subject of the cause has attained twenty (20) years of age;\n\n(b) if the youth court dismisses the cause; or\n\n(c) if the youth court sets aside an adjudication in the cause.\n\n(2) The youth court may, at any time, upon its own motion or upon application of a party to a youth court cause, order the sealing or unsealing of the records involving children.","path":["MS Code","Title 43"],"source_url":"https://legislature.ms.gov/","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:17Z","sha256":"255c11dace88a7a69e975c287d8ba51be97e20f323722cb2d33bc68bb6a0dee8","source_id":"us-ms","stale":false,"prev":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-43-21-261","next":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-43-21-265"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
