Code Ann. § 43-21-859","body":"(1) The clerk of court shall:\n\n(a) Notify and provide a copy of all dependency, abuse and neglect petitions to the program director, as soon as the court makes a referral to the program director for assignment of a CASA volunteer to the case;\n\n(b) Provide a copy of all court orders issued pursuant to this section; and\n\n(c) Notify the program director of all scheduled court hearings for cases to which a CASA volunteer has been assigned.\n\n(2) Upon appointment by the court to represent a child, the CASA volunteer will have access to information and records as previously set out in Mississippi Code of 1972, Section 43-21-121 .","path":["MS Code","Title 43"],"source_url":"https://legislature.ms.gov/","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:17Z","sha256":"0e9f459fecc406e88eb58fe1c4665a6f88b6b5f22708cb65b8d81ca3a8479d58","source_id":"us-ms","stale":false,"prev":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-43-21-857","next":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-43-21-861"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
