Code Ann. § 43-21-865","body":"The association shall:\n\n(a) Adopt and approve state standards for all CASA volunteers, program directors and other staff, including, but not limited to, guidelines for training;\n\n(b) Adopt and approve the uniform annual data reporting procedures for local programs pursuant to subsection (2)(h) of Section 2; and\n\n(c) Evaluate and make recommendations before January 1 of each year to the Supreme Court, Governor, Judiciary Committees of the House of Representatives and Senate, and the Administrative Offices of Courts addressing:\n\n(i) Laws of the state affecting the welfare of children and families; and\n\n(ii) The effectiveness or ineffectiveness, including reasons, of local CASA volunteers advocating for permanent placement for the children in the state.","path":["MS Code","Title 43"],"source_url":"https://legislature.ms.gov/","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:17Z","sha256":"ca19c3c22b3759894057d09fb1d12a60a9979c75a6334556114f959ed0fdf6aa","source_id":"us-ms","stale":false,"prev":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-43-21-863","next":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-43-21-867"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
