Code Ann. § 43-7-59","body":"(1) The Office of the State Long-Term Care Facilities Ombudsman shall designate and refuse, suspend or remove designation of representatives of the Office of the State Long-Term Care Facilities Ombudsman in particular where a conflict of interest cannot be resolved, except that community long-term care facilities ombudsman programs existing on July 1, 1988, shall be designated unless the Office of the State Long-Term Care Facilities Ombudsman determines that the existing community program no longer meets the requirement of Sections 43-7-51 through 43-7-79 .\n\n(2) The State Ombudsman shall specify standards for the designation and operation of community ombudsman programs and establish a grievance process.","path":["MS Code","Title 43"],"source_url":"https://legislature.ms.gov/","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:17Z","sha256":"55063809b16aefee3cd242131a7fe2206629942fbd106365f62dbba6e4e35faa","source_id":"us-ms","stale":false,"prev":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-43-7-57","next":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-43-7-61"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
