Code Ann. § 45-38-13","body":"(1) Except as provided by subsection (2) of this section, this chapter may not be construed as providing a basis for, or being subject to, a private right of action for a violation of this chapter.\n\n(2) If a digital service provider violates this chapter, the parent or guardian of a known minor affected by that violation may bring a cause of action seeking:\n\n(a) A declaratory judgment under Rule 57 of Mississippi Rules of Civil Procedure ; or\n\n(b) An injunction against the digital service provider.\n\n(3) A court may not certify an action brought under this section as a class action.","path":["MS Code","Title 45"],"source_url":"https://legislature.ms.gov/","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:17Z","sha256":"239a58dae4da613bdcf75d0a62ca4bec3659f9f517b154ead716cac4a98c4c02","source_id":"us-ms","stale":false,"prev":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-45-38-11","next":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-45-38-3"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
