Code Ann. § 49-17-515","body":"(1) After August 31, 1998, it is unlawful for an individual who does not possess a valid lead-based paint supervisor certificate to direct a lead-based paint abatement activity and to prepare occupant protection plans and abatement reports.\n\n(2) To qualify for a lead-based paint supervisor certificate, an applicant shall:\n\n(a) Have a high school diploma or its equivalent and one (1) year of experience as a certified lead-based paint abatement worker or two (2) years of experience in a related field, as determined by the commission or in the building trades;\n\n(b) Satisfactorily complete an accredited training program for lead-based paint supervisors; and\n\n(c) Demonstrate to the satisfaction of the commission that the applicant is familiar with and capable of complying fully with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations.","path":["MS Code","Title 49"],"source_url":"https://legislature.ms.gov/","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:17Z","sha256":"84ee9bfd0d073be6b0eda58796627fa70822abaea8dd5ced4ab40c17fd0ec79f","source_id":"us-ms","stale":false,"prev":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-49-17-513","next":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-49-17-516"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
