Code Ann. § 49-7-148","body":"(1)(a) The department shall provide hunters with disabilities access to hunting areas in public wildlife management areas under its jurisdiction.\n\n(b) The department shall allow the use of a mobility related device for an individual who is permanently physically disabled and meets one or more of the following criteria:\n\n(i) Is paraplegic or hemiplegic;\n\n(ii) Is unable to ambulate and requires a wheelchair, walker, leg braces, prosthesis, canes or crutches for mobility.\n\n(2) The commission shall promulgate rules and regulations for reasonable access and include a definition of “hunters with disabilities” as used in this section.","path":["MS Code","Title 49"],"source_url":"https://legislature.ms.gov/","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:17Z","sha256":"39fba6a8c1fd2049f6d7f3f40f23282d8ca1a2fa3ab57e930f72147e7d593761","source_id":"us-ms","stale":false,"prev":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-49-7-147","next":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-49-7-151"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
