Code Ann. § 51-39-35","body":"For the purpose of attaining the objectives of this chapter, any public agency may, upon any terms as it may determine, do any of the following:\n\n(1) Lend, contribute, or donate money to any district or perform services for the benefit of the district;\n\n(2) Donate, sell, convey, transfer, lease or grant to any district, without the necessity of authorization at any election of qualified voters, any property of any kind, where otherwise not prohibited by law; and\n\n(3) Do any thing, whether or not specifically authorized in this section, not otherwise prohibited by law, that is necessary or convenient to aid and cooperate with any district in attaining the objectives of this chapter.","path":["MS Code","Title 51"],"source_url":"https://legislature.ms.gov/","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:17Z","sha256":"d7188f1326ce999a355615204acc0f2390e73acc2d551b1c3b5bd48c938dc4ad","source_id":"us-ms","stale":false,"prev":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-51-39-33","next":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-51-39-37"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
