Code Ann. § 57-1-54","body":"The Mississippi Development Authority shall be the Department of Economic and Community Development and shall retain all powers and duties granted by law to the Mississippi Department of Economic and Community Development and wherever the term “ Mississippi Department of Economic and Community Development ,” “ Department of Economic and Community Development ,” “ Mississippi Department of Economic Development ” or “ Department of Economic Development ” appears in any law the same shall mean the Mississippi Development Authority. The Mississippi Development Authority may continue to refer to itself as the Mississippi Department of Economic and Community Development for as long as it may deem necessary.
