Code Ann. § 63-1-206","body":"(1) Each employer shall require the applicant to provide the information specified in Section 63-3-205(c) .\n\n(2) No employer may knowingly allow, require, permit or authorize a driver to operate a commercial motor vehicle in the United States:\n\n(a) During any period in which the driver has a CMV driver's license suspended, revoked, or cancelled by a state or has lost the privilege to operate a commercial motor vehicle in a state, or has been disqualified from operating a commercial motor vehicle;\n\n(b) During any period in which the driver has more than one (1) CMV driver's license;\n\n(c) During any period in which the driver, or the CMV the driver is driving, or the motor carrier operation, is subject to an out-of-service order; or\n\n(d) In violation of a federal, state or local law or regulation pertaining to railroad-highway grade crossings.","path":["MS Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://legislature.ms.gov/","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:17Z","sha256":"931fa145a498f90205bc8590db79b019a6591850eff6d51e6187a607cb3b73b2","source_id":"us-ms","stale":false,"prev":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-63-1-205","next":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-63-1-207"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
