Code Ann. § 63-21-25","body":"The Department of Revenue shall refuse issuance of a certificate of title:\n\n(a) If any required fee is not paid;\n\n(b) If the department has reasonable grounds to believe that the applicant is not the owner of the vehicle, manufactured home or mobile home, or that the application contains a false or fraudulent statement, or that the applicant has failed to furnish required information or documents or any additional information the department reasonably requires; or\n\n(c) If the certificate of title is to a manufactured home or mobile home with respect to which title has been retired to real property under Section 63-21-30 unless with respect to the same home title has been severed from real property pursuant to Section 63-21-30 .","path":["MS Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://legislature.ms.gov/","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:17Z","sha256":"403a5647cdaedb45d5ea6ebecf75dfa74a4b7058a5f32f4858621cbf42f1be93","source_id":"us-ms","stale":false,"prev":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-63-21-23","next":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-63-21-251"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
