Code Ann. § 63-3-1105","body":"(1) Every pedestrian crossing a roadway at any point other than within a marked crosswalk or within an unmarked crosswalk at an intersection shall yield the right-of-way to all vehicles upon the roadway.\n\n(2) Any pedestrian crossing a roadway at a point where a pedestrian tunnel or overhead pedestrian crossing has been provided shall yield the right-of-way to all vehicles upon the roadway.\n\n(3) Between adjacent intersections at which traffic control signals are in operation pedestrians shall not cross at any place except in a marked crosswalk.","path":["MS Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://legislature.ms.gov/","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:17Z","sha256":"12cf13b2ab89fa8209937874e6a73f23fe846b0df913037b1faf09467f75d069","source_id":"us-ms","stale":false,"prev":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-63-3-1103","next":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-63-3-1107"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
