Code Ann. § 63-7-35","body":"Head lamps arranged to provide a single distribution of light not supplemented by auxiliary driving lamps shall be permitted on motor vehicles manufactured and sold prior to April 10, 1948, in lieu of multiple-beam road-lighting equipment specified in Section 63-7-31 if the single distribution of light complies with the following requirements and limitations:\n\n(a) The head lamps shall be so aimed that when the vehicle is not loaded none of the high-intensity portion of the light shall at a distance of twenty-five feet ahead project higher than a level of five inches below the level of the center of the lamp from which it comes, and in no case higher than forty-two inches above the level on which the vehicle stands at a distance of seventy-five feet ahead.\n\n(b) The intensity shall be sufficient to reveal persons and vehicles at a distance of at least two hundred feet.","path":["MS Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://legislature.ms.gov/","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:17Z","sha256":"7de30bb4116c067f6f7356845eede19bd7510571faf8cbc7d2f3bbf6d3bfe105","source_id":"us-ms","stale":false,"prev":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-63-7-33","next":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-63-7-37"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
