Code Ann. § 63-7-61","body":"No person shall sell any new motor vehicle nor shall any new motor vehicle be registered unless such motor vehicle is equipped with safety glass throughout.\n\nNo person shall replace any glass in any motor vehicle except with safety glass, provided same can be easily or readily obtained.\n\nThe term “ safety glass ” shall mean any product composed of glass, so manufactured, fabricated, or treated as substantially to prevent shattering and flying of the glass when struck or broken or such other or similar product as may be approved by the department.\n\nThe department shall compile and publish a list of types of glass by name approved by it as meeting the requirements of this section.
