Code Ann. § 63-9-19","body":"The collection of fees for the performance of services in making arrests in traffic violation cases and taking the accused before the court for trial or to jail awaiting trial shall be restricted to that peace officer who performs such services, and, if performed by a highway patrolman, shall not be compensated.
