Code Ann. § 67-1-45","body":"No manufacturer, rectifier or distiller of alcoholic beverages shall sell or attempt to sell any such alcoholic beverages, except malt liquor, within the State of Mississippi, except to the department, or as provided in Section 67-1-41 , or pursuant to Section 67-1-51 . A producer of native wine or native spirit may sell native wines or native spirits, respectively, to the department or to consumers at the location of the native winery or native distillery or its immediate vicinity.\n\nAny violation of this section by any manufacturer, rectifier or distiller shall be punished by a fine of not less than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), and not more than Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00), to which may be added imprisonment in the county jail not to exceed six (6) months.","path":["MS Code","Title 67"],"source_url":"https://legislature.ms.gov/","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:17Z","sha256":"d47bd022e9bbe196745bf206d290cb3a90d211067f669df177665705560faf42","source_id":"us-ms","stale":false,"prev":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-67-1-43","next":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-67-1-46"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
