Code Ann. § 67-1-87","body":"(1) Any person convicted of a violation of any of the provisions of this article for which no other penalty is specifically provided herein shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine of not more than One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00), or by imprisonment for not more than six (6) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.\n\n(2) Any person convicted of a violation of any rules or regulations promulgated by the commission under the authority of this article shall be subject to a civil penalty to be assessed by the commission in an amount not to exceed One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) to be deposited into the State General Fund.","path":["MS Code","Title 67"],"source_url":"https://legislature.ms.gov/","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:17Z","sha256":"0474cb2b92da40cf176fb1815ce97f619b6aac9b86c9f6b30d3c864eacaf8d1c","source_id":"us-ms","stale":false,"prev":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-67-1-85","next":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-67-1-89"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
