Code Ann. § 69-1-309","body":"(1) A retailer of a covered commodity that is farm-raised fish or wild fish may designate the covered commodity as having a United States country of origin only if:\n\n(a) In the case of farm-raised fish, it is hatched, raised, harvested and processed in the United States; or\n\n(b) In the case of wild fish, it is:\n\n(i) Harvested in waters of the United States, a territory of the United States or a state, including the waters thereof; and\n\n(ii) Processed in the United States, a territory of the United States or a state, including the waters thereof.\n\n(2) The notice of country of origin for wild fish and farm-raised fish shall distinguish between wild fish and farm-raised fish.","path":["MS Code","Title 69"],"source_url":"https://legislature.ms.gov/","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:17Z","sha256":"f82d848f0959a2fac3a4c994d86153cd82615849d1ae0d41386de5f1d0f1857e","source_id":"us-ms","stale":false,"prev":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-69-1-307","next":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-69-1-311"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
