Code Ann. § 69-7-753","body":"There is created in the Department of Agriculture and Commerce a Food Products Certification Office. This office shall establish grading and certification processes for fruits, vegetables and nuts. This office shall also establish regulations and procedures to determine whether a product is produced or processed, or both, in Mississippi. The Food Products Certification Office shall be responsible for:\n\n(a) Inspecting, grading and certifying fruits, vegetables and nuts;\n\n(b) Coordinating and developing markets for Mississippi farmers who produce fruits, vegetables and nuts;\n\n(c) Managing or assisting in the management of the vegetable marketing sheds; and\n\n(d) Assisting farmers in the production of fruits and vegetables with the greatest market demand that are most adaptable to each production area.","path":["MS Code","Title 69"],"source_url":"https://legislature.ms.gov/","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:17Z","sha256":"5b2abcfc9f496e48d79d1f09ff259e2276042026512e95336c3f039c529903fd","source_id":"us-ms","stale":false,"prev":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-69-7-751","next":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-69-7-755"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
