Code Ann. § 73-14-25","body":"The department may license as a hearing aid specialist, and furnish a certificate of licensure, to any applicant who presents evidence, satisfactory to the department of having passed an examination before a similar lawfully authorized examining agency or board of hearing aid specialists of another state or the District of Columbia, if the standards for registration of hearing aid specialists or for licensure as a hearing aid specialist in such state or district are determined by the department to be as high as those of this state, and if that jurisdiction affords licensees of this state reciprocity.\n\nAny person making application for licensure under the provisions of this section may, at the discretion of the board, be required to pass an examination selected by the board.\n\nThe issuance of a license by reciprocity to a military-trained applicant, military spouse or person who establishes residence in this state shall be subject to the provisions of Section 73-50-1 or 73-50-2 , as applicable.","path":["MS Code","Title 73"],"source_url":"https://legislature.ms.gov/","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:17Z","sha256":"5b76f93852edd9dbf8ef8f31cc342322e2e5288fb6f9ec8ff6380878468a96df","source_id":"us-ms","stale":false,"prev":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-73-14-23","next":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-73-14-27"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
