Code Ann. § 73-29-3","body":"In this chapter, unless the context requires a different definition:\n\n“Board” means the polygraph examiners board;\n\n“Secretary” means that member of the polygraph examiners board selected by the board to act as secretary;\n\n“Internship” means the study of polygraph examinations and of the administration of polygraph examinations by a trainee under the personal supervision and control of a polygraph examiner in accordance with a course of study prescribed by the board at the commencement of such internship;\n\n“Person” means any natural person, firm, association, copartnership, or corporation; and\n\n“Polygraph examiner” means any person who uses any device or instrument to test or question individuals for the purpose of verifying truth of statements.","path":["MS Code","Title 73"],"source_url":"https://legislature.ms.gov/","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:17Z","sha256":"1d7ae775392b74ea3f8051af8160c684ba09bb21ecb2ba4a62e268742f083226","source_id":"us-ms","stale":false,"prev":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-73-29-29","next":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-73-29-31"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
