Code Ann. § 75-24-311","body":"(1) Any residential roofing contractor in violation of Sections 75-24-301 through 75-24-311 shall be subject to the civil and criminal penalties and remedies under Sections 75-24-19 , 75-24-20 and 75-24-23 , and may be liable under a private right of action of the consumer.\n\n(2) A violation of Sections 75-24-301 through 75-24-311 by a residential roofing contractor is an unfair and deceptive act or practice as defined by the Mississippi Consumer Protection Law, Section 75-24-1 et seq.\n\n(3) Sections 75-24-301 through 75-24-311 do not prohibit an insured that is harmed by a deceptive trade practice from commencing a civil action against a residential roofing contractor.","path":["MS Code","Title 75"],"source_url":"https://legislature.ms.gov/","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:17Z","sha256":"2ce8a9f50bb38c1addc0d1a3a90f209166ffe473c8b8b044074ab2c023262fe4","source_id":"us-ms","stale":false,"prev":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-75-24-309","next":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-75-24-351"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
