Code Ann. § 75-43-1","body":"Any landowner, tenant or manager of any lands in this state may store his own grain in a farm warehouse built and situated on such land and receive a warehouse receipt for the same by complying with the provisions of this chapter. Nothing in this chapter shall require any person who does not desire to receive a warehouse receipt for storage of his grain in his warehouse to obtain a license pursuant to this chapter or otherwise to comply with this chapter.\n\nThis chapter shall not apply to public grain warehouses, which shall be governed by Sections 75-44-1 et seq.\n\nThe provisions of this chapter shall apply to all farm warehouses, as defined by this chapter, and to the operations of all such warehouses.","path":["MS Code","Title 75"],"source_url":"https://legislature.ms.gov/","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:17Z","sha256":"49c6fca575f086c3058b3c9130eed438f8f2facbe75f4b4a2218af598eaa8f6e","source_id":"us-ms","stale":false,"prev":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-75-41-3","next":"us-ms/miss.-code-ann.-75-43-11"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
