Code Ann. § 97-31-45","heading":"Sale of alcohol by druggists; penalties for certain violations.","body":"Any physician who signs or issues any prescription containing any false statement; any druggist who shall sell any alcohol or shall fill any prescription for alcohol in anywise other than herein allowed, or shall refill any prescription for alcohol or who shall fail to file a prescription filled by him in the office of the circuit clerk within the time prescribed; any person who shall obtain alcohol or wine for any purpose authorized herein and who shall convert the same to any other use; shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall, on conviction, be fined not less than fifty dollars, nor more than five hundred dollars, or be imprisoned in the county jail not less than one week, or more than three months, or both. But in no case of a conviction of any person for an offense under this section committed after a conviction and punishment for a former offense hereunder, shall the punishment be less than a fine of one hundred dollars nor more than provided in this section, or imprisonment in the county jail for not less than sixty days nor more than six months, or both, in the discretion of the court.","path":["Title 97.
