Code Ann. § 99-1-27","heading":"Victim of sex offenses not required to submit to truth telling devices as condition for proceeding with investigation of offense.","body":"(1) No law enforcement officer, prosecutor or other government official shall ask or require an adult, youth or child victim of a sex offense to submit to a polygraph examination or other truth telling device as a condition for proceeding with the investigation of the offense.\n(2) The refusal of a victim to submit to an examination described above shall not prevent the investigation of the offense.\n(3) For purposes of this section, a “sex offense” shall have the meaning ascribed in Section 45-33-23(h).","path":["Title 99.
