{"data":{"id":"us-mt/17-2-101","jurisdiction":"us-mt","citation":"17-2-101","heading":"Title and purpose.","body":"(1) Sections 17-2-101 through 17-2-107 may be cited as the \"Treasury Fund Structure Act\".\n(2) The purpose of these sections is to:\n(a) comply with Article VIII, section 12, of the Montana constitution;\n(b) simplify the accounting system and treasury fund structure of the state;\n(c) make possible the full utilization of modern accounting methods;\n(d) provide the legislature with a greater measure of control over public money; and\n(e) enable the financial records of the state to accurately reflect the state's revenue, expenditures, expenses, and financial position in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.","path":["TITLE 17.
