{"data":{"id":"us-mt/2-16-211","jurisdiction":"us-mt","citation":"2-16-211","heading":"Oaths -- form -- before whom -- when.","body":"(1) Members of the legislature and all officers, executive, ministerial, or judicial, must, before they enter upon the duties of their respective offices, take and subscribe the following oath or affirmation: \"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support, protect, and defend the constitution of the United States and the constitution of the state of Montana, and that I will discharge the duties of my office with fidelity (so help me God).\"\n(2) No other oath, declaration, or test must be required as a qualification for any office or public trust.\n(3) Except when otherwise provided, the oath may be taken before any officer authorized to administer oaths.","path":["TITLE 2.
