{"data":{"id":"us-mt/30-10-325","jurisdiction":"us-mt","citation":"30-10-325","heading":"Operating pyramid promotional scheme unlawful.","body":"(1) A person may not conduct or promote or cause to be conducted or promoted a pyramid promotional scheme.\n(2) A person who willfully violates the provisions of subsection (1) shall, for each participant giving consideration, be fined an amount not more than $100,000 or be imprisoned for not more than 10 years, or both.\n(3) A person who violates the provisions of subsection (1) shall, for each participant giving consideration, be assessed a civil penalty in an administrative proceeding in an amount not to exceed $10,000.","path":["TITLE 30.
