{"data":{"id":"us-mt/30-14-213","jurisdiction":"us-mt","citation":"30-14-213","heading":"Sales excepted.","body":"Sections 30-14-209, 30-14-210, and 30-14-212 do not apply to any sale made:\n(1) in closing out in good faith the owner's stock or any part of the stock for the purpose of discontinuing the owner's trade in any article of commerce;\n(2) of seasonal goods;\n(3) in good faith of perishable goods to prevent loss to the vendor by spoilage or depreciation, provided notice is given to the public;\n(4) when the goods are damaged or deteriorated in quality and notice is given to the public;\n(5) by an officer acting under the orders of any court;\n(6) in a good faith endeavor to meet the legal prices of a competitor selling the same article of commerce in the same locality or trade area; or\n(7) to the state of Montana or any of its institutions.","path":["TITLE 30.
