If the name of a foreign limited liability company does not satisfy the requirements of 35-8-103, to obtain or maintain a certificate of authority:\n(1) the foreign limited liability company may add the words \"limited company\", the abbreviation \"l.l.c.\", or the abbreviation \"l.c.\" to its name for use in this state; or\n(2) if its real name is unavailable, the foreign limited liability company may use an assumed business name that is available and that satisfies the requirements of 35-8-208 if it files the assumed business name with the secretary of state.","path":["TITLE 35.
