However, if not otherwise released from service on a board, the following provisions apply:\n(a) A member shall serve a term of 2 years, except that if a vacancy occurs, a successor must be appointed to serve the unexpired term.\n(b) A member may be reappointed and continue to serve until a successor is appointed.\n(2) A board shall elect annually from its membership a presiding officer and vice presiding officer to serve in the absence of the presiding officer.","path":["TITLE 41.
