{"data":{"id":"us-mt/50-20-1003","jurisdiction":"us-mt","citation":"50-20-1003","heading":"Dismemberment abortion procedures prohibited -- penalty.","body":"(1) Except in a medical emergency, a person may not purposely or knowingly perform, induce, or attempt to perform or induce a dismemberment abortion procedure.\n(2) A person who violates this section is guilty of a felony and on conviction shall be punished by a fine in an amount not to exceed $50,000, imprisonment for a term of not less than 5 years and not more than 10 years, or both.\n(3) A woman on whom an abortion is performed, induced, or attempted in violation of this part may not be prosecuted for conspiracy to commit a violation of this part.","path":["TITLE 50.
