{"data":{"id":"us-mt/50-20-1005","jurisdiction":"us-mt","citation":"50-20-1005","heading":"(Subsections (2) and (3) effective on occurrence of contingency) Professional sanctions -- civil fines -- enforcement.","body":"(1) A physician or physician assistant who purposely or knowingly violates 50-20-1003 commits unprofessional conduct, and the person's license to practice medicine in Montana must be suspended for a minimum of 1 year pursuant to Title 37.\n(2) A physician or physician assistant who purposely or knowingly delivers to the department a report required under 50-20-1004 that is known by the person to contain false information shall be subject to a fine of $2,000 imposed by the department.\n(3) A physician or physician assistant who purposely or knowingly fails to file with the department a report required under 50-20-1004 shall be subject to a fine of $1,000 imposed by the department.\n(4) The attorney general may enforce the provisions of this part on behalf of the department.
