{"data":{"id":"us-mt/52-2-722","jurisdiction":"us-mt","citation":"52-2-722","heading":"Application for a license or registration certificate.","body":"(1) Application for a license or registration certificate shall be made to the department in the county in which the applicant lives on forms prescribed by the department.\n(2) Applications for a license or registration certificate by Indians residing on Indian reservations shall be made through the tribal governing body on forms prescribed by the department. Applications made through a tribal governing body shall be accompanied by a request by the tribal governing body that the department investigate to determine whether a license or registration certificate should be granted.\n(3) Within 30 days of receipt of the application, the department shall determine whether a license or registration certificate should be issued.","path":["TITLE 52.
