{"data":{"id":"us-mt/52-5-114","jurisdiction":"us-mt","citation":"52-5-114","heading":"Penalty for aiding resident in leaving or not returning to correctional facility.","body":"(1) A person is guilty of an offense if the person purposely or knowingly:\n(a) permits or assists a resident of a correctional facility to leave a facility without permission;\n(b) permits or assists a resident's failure to return to a correctional facility from which the resident had permission to leave;\n(c) furnishes or attempts to furnish to a resident a tool, weapon, or other article with the intent of aiding the resident to leave without permission or to not return; or\n(d) harbors or conceals a resident who has left without permission.\n(2) Upon conviction of a violation of subsection (1), a person shall be punished by imprisonment for a term of not less than 6 months or more than 2 years or by a fine not exceeding $1,000, or both.","path":["TITLE 52.
