A law enforcement officer of the state or a county or a city shall detain a youth who has allegedly violated the terms and conditions of the youth's conditional release agreement upon receipt of a warrant to detain the youth.\n(2) The department of corrections may detain a youth who has escaped from a correctional facility or program operated by or under contract with the department. A law enforcement officer of the state or a county or a city shall detain a youth upon notice in writing to the officer by the department that the youth has escaped from a correctional facility or program operated by or under contract with the department.","path":["TITLE 52.
