{"data":{"id":"us-mt/53-21-1206","jurisdiction":"us-mt","citation":"53-21-1206","heading":"Treatment and discharge plan -- safety -- rights.","body":"(1) For each respondent admitted as an inpatient to a mental health facility for short-term inpatient treatment pursuant to 53-21-1205 and this section, the provisions of 53-21-162 and 53-21-180 apply, except as follows:\n(a) the comprehensive physical and mental examination and review of behavioral status must be completed within 24 hours of admission;\n(b) the individualized treatment plan must be implemented no later than 3 days after the admission; and\n(c) a discharge plan must be developed prior to discharge.\n(2) Short-term inpatient treatment must be provided in a manner that considers the safety of the respondent, other patients, staff, and the general public.\n(3) A respondent in a mental health facility for short-term inpatient treatment is entitled to all of the rights and protections provided in part 1 of this chapter.","path":["TITLE 53.
