{"data":{"id":"us-mt/69-3-703","jurisdiction":"us-mt","citation":"69-3-703","heading":"Utility investment in or purchase of conservation -- approval by commission.","body":"(1) A utility may:\n(a) purchase conservation from a person or private firm; or\n(b) directly engage in conservation investments.\n(2) The conservation purchases or investments provided for in subsection (1) are subject to approval by the commission.\n(3) Cost-effective conservation measures approved by the commission may, at the customer's discretion, be installed by:\n(a) a person or a private firm;\n(b) the customer; or\n(c) the utility.","path":["TITLE 69.
