{"data":{"id":"us-mt/7-1-4125","jurisdiction":"us-mt","citation":"7-1-4125","heading":"Limit on liability.","body":"(1) As provided in Article II, section 18, of the Montana constitution, a municipality has no immunity from suit for injury to a person or property, except as may be specifically provided by law by a two-thirds vote of each house of the legislature.\n(2) A local government has the right but not the duty to purchase insurance to protect against claims for injury to a person or property.\n(3) Local governments are subject to the provisions of Title 2, chapter 9.","path":["TITLE 7.
