{"data":{"id":"us-mt/7-12-2201","jurisdiction":"us-mt","citation":"7-12-2201","heading":"Maintenance of lighting system.","body":"When there has been or shall be created a rural improvement district, according to the provisions of part 21, for the purpose of securing a lighting system for the territory embraced in such rural improvement district, the board of county commissioners of such county may enter into a contract with other persons or corporations for the purpose of furnishing light to said rural improvement district when:\n(1) no expense of construction is incurred by such rural improvement district in the installation of such lighting system;\n(2) it is necessary only to secure funds for the maintenance and operation of said system; and\n(3) lights for said territory can best be secured by entering a contract for such lighting with some other person or corporation.","path":["TITLE 7.
