{"data":{"id":"us-mt/7-2-4712","jurisdiction":"us-mt","citation":"7-2-4712","heading":"Contents of ordinance of annexation.","body":"(1) The ordinance shall:\n(a) contain specific findings showing that the area to be annexed meets the requirements of 7-2-4734 and 7-2-4735;\n(b) contain a statement of the intent of the municipality to provide services to the area being annexed as set forth in the report required by 7-2-4731; and\n(c) fix the effective date of annexation.\n(2) The external boundaries of the area to be annexed shall be described by metes and bounds.","path":["TITLE 7.
