{"data":{"id":"us-mt/7-31-202","jurisdiction":"us-mt","citation":"7-31-202","heading":"Qualifications for public safety communications officers.","body":"To be appointed a public safety communications officer, a person:\n(1) must be a citizen of the United States;\n(2) must be at least 18 years of age;\n(3) must be fingerprinted and a search must be made of local, state, and national fingerprint files to disclose any criminal record;\n(4) may not have been convicted of a crime for which the person could have been imprisoned in a federal or state penitentiary;\n(5) must be of good moral character, as determined by a thorough background investigation;\n(6) must be a high school graduate or have been issued a high school equivalency diploma by the superintendent of public instruction or by an appropriate issuing agency of another state or of the federal government; and\n(7) must meet any additional qualifications established by the council.","path":["TITLE 7.
